DANIELLE PART 3/3 Photography is actually quite difficult to master. Howeve, this image, and many others on this page are simple portraits and that's totally fine. You may not find epic and technically tricky shots here, as my aim has always been to represent things in a flattering way but still true to form, as you would remember it. The true mastery comes with relating and communicating with your subject. Do you people love the moment they're in? Are they as much a part of the process as you are? Photography was never all about me, it's about who is blessed or influenced by the joy of seeing themselves as Christ sees them; remarkable.
DANIELLE PART 2/3 Happy Monday friends, thanks for following along with all my images these past few weeks, as I prepare to leave it behind more this summer! Black and whites are a perfect way to calm a image, and an opportunity to bring attention to the little details like texture and emotion. I often switch images to black and white on my phone just to see what the new perspective brings.
DANIELLE PART 1/3 Portraits are a unique opportunity to capture the story of someone, forever, in that moment. I love shuffling through printed images of people who came before me. People that were once my age, smiling, and probably thinking about the same thing I would be in front of the camera. Nervous. Excited. Joyful. So many emotions behind each image.
THE GIRLS 2/3 I like to think that I was a perfect child that always smiled and laughed when my photographer dad had a camera, but I know I probably needed my fair share of bribing. Glad to know that with a little magic and a whole lot of prayer, I can get beautiful Images for people to love for years in their homes. Pictures are important.
